At Storage Oregon we can clean and shine your vehicle and make as some have said “it look like it did when it came off the factory floor.”
We have diesel powered mobile high quality air equipment that were designed to clean 747 and other aircraft. We’ve invested in the high grade professional equipment so we can bring the precession of avionics and large footprints of large jet buffing technology, to your personal vehicles.
As you can see we turned, with our Aircraft polishing equipment, proper chemical we could turn an old section of and an extremely pitted trailer, into a newer looking shiny panel, greatly reducing the very large pits. The pits now appear all the way around the panel cleaned, they actually were very pronounced in the panel.
We used both a chemical clean and Gord’s with a soft steel wool we only used Gords in the top right hand corner where the shine is.
On our other section using chemical cleans ans steel wool and our our equipment, please you your steel wool with the grans of Aluminum, like sanding with the gran in woodworking, it will make a difference, you can still see pitting but it’s been greatly reduced for the pitting shown from both above and below our work. The above patch when sealed and then polished will give a great shine.

We rented this nice vintage Airstream trailer in Salem and transported it to Lincoln City at Devil’s Lake campground for us to view Devil’s Lakes speed boat races. As you can see in the above photo it was lovely looking, it’s nice that age treats some thing well. We loved the cherry wood floors inside, they gave it a wow factor, the other insides were very nice but simple and pleasing. When we camp we don’t like the idea that you have to out do everybody especially while on vacation , this was a unique way to stick out of the crowd, but in a simple and elegant Harley Davidson type manor. The comments made by other, once they saw our large over sized mirror was surprising, and the rental rates were very low. It was a very nice and welcome change, we think our parents generation got it right, and it felt cool, in a 1960′s retro style way.
Since we don’t have our own camper and or trailer knowing the high cost to buy one, and we asked ourselves a question, if we put out the big money to buy a trailer- would we ever use it enough? With this question in the back of our minds, this Storage Oregon rental allowed us to attend a special event, in a throw back way with very little damage to our pocket.
Since we had a very large rain shower in the middle of one night, it’s seems to be Oregon custom while camping, it was nice to be sleeping inside with a real roof over your head, and a dry floor under your feet, knowing how much my wife hates tent camping when we received that kind of rainstorm, this was doubly successful.

Gord’s Aluminum-Chrome-Cleaner-Polish-Sealer
This product has cut our polishing time down from three hours to a mere half hour and which includes the prep time of gathering the red shop rags that Gord says to use.
Apply the polish directly to the spot , normally a two by two I have found to work best and rub it in with the red shop rag for a minimum of two minutes. This allows Gord’s Polish to work on the Aluminum for max effect. Then use a clean red shop rag or micro fiber towel to buff off the now blackened polish and revel the mirror shine. In less than ten minutes you can have a section of polished metal that you will be proud of. Now a word of warning is that you must maintain the polish wetness to achieve the desired mirror effect. It has been advised not to use this in direct sunlight as the polish will dry to quickly. Personally I have attempted to use the product in other than perfect shade and it doesn’t work well at all.
If your like me you scan the instructions to get an understanding of what must be done or not read them at all. I strongly suggest for maximum results you do not take this approach. For instance, The instructions that came with Gord’s Polish stated that you must buff the product off when it is still wet unlike most polishes. I let it dry and attempted to buff it of with a buffer and ended up with what I call a patina, gord’s calls it the burnished look. Not the desired effect I was looking for. I was looking for that mirror image that will give you a suntan in moments in direct sunlight. So I read the instructions, applied the procedure and low and behold, a mirror shine just like I was looking for.
Where the clouds appear only 15 Minutes of work
Of course it has been years since this Airstream had been polished. So with a liberal amount of Gord’s Polish I set to work with the suggested (0000) steel wool and a red shop rag to make sure the years melted away to a brite and wonderful finish. It still took me less time to make this happen than what it would have using conventional methods. Truly a miracle polish that can make my work easier.
